The Students for Life (SFL) chapter at Franciscan University protested the “most evil abortion clinic in the world” this week.
When asked what makes the Allegheny Reproductive Health Center, located in downtown Pittsburgh, the most evil clinic, SFL member Joseph Goodwin explained that this particular center conducts procedures that even Planned Parenthood refuses.
SFL members met at Sacred Heart Church on Saturday morning and marched all the way to the abortion clinic. The 40 participants lined up down the street across from the clinic and said prayers and sang songs while sidewalk counselors talked to people as they walked in to the clinic.
The Allegheny Reproductive Health Center had a group of employees standing outside of the doors wearing bright yellow shirts that read “Pro-Choice Escort” as they ushered people into the clinic and tried to block SFL members from relaying their message. A former SFL president was even purposely tripped by one of the pro-choice escorts and other SFL members admit to being harassed, even sexually, by the escorts.
